Indego by Vineet Grosvenor House Dubai
Our story
Located in Grosvenor House Dubai, Indego by Vineet is an exquisite contemporary Indian restaurant that continues to fascinate in-house guests and Dubai residents alike. Headed up by chef-consultant Vineet Bhatia, owner of Rasoi in London and the first Indian chef to receive a globally-acclaimed Michelin star. Since opening in 2005, Indego by Vineet has firmly stamped its name on the Dubai culinary scene, fast becoming renowned for its legendary combination of traditional spices coupled with fine-dining presentation, without a balti dish in sight.
Our offering
Fusing together a multitude of flavours, authentic spices and the colours of Indian culture within luxurious modern surroundings, Indego by Vineet offers guests a sophisticated yet intimate dining experience that reflects the multilayered delicate flavours and spices of the food it serves.
Upon entry, a dimly-lit winding pathway lined with exotic masks, leads guests to the main dining area. Once inside guests are given a feel for the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India – with each section carefully partitioned by mahogany latticing to create a sense of warmth and intimacy, whist the minimalist, muted walls, add to the feeling of uncluttered and subtle opulence. Special handcrafted leather Indian mojiri’s of gold and silver thread line the walls, hinting back to days gone by. These details, coupled with the four beautiful antique bronze statues, serve to preserve the traditions of Indian culture, with a subtle contemporary twist. Put simply, the ambiance at Indego is magical yet relaxing.
Diners at Indego indulge in the finest modern Indian cuisine from a menu that is as sumptuous as the décor. Indego continues to wow with signature dishes such as Tandori salmon, succulent morsels of home-smoked fresh salmon, exquisitely presented, and delicious prawns poached in coconut with chilli masala, both of which remain the firm favourites of regular Indego diners.
