MEET THE CHEF

Chef Saul Andrade

Chef Saul Andrade

With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Saul Andrade is Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort’s Executive Chef, spearheading 8 restaurants and bars. His expertise in menu engineering, budgeting and maintaining a high level of food quality has contributed to his current success in the culinary world. Born in the coastal city of Nazaré, Portugal, Chef Saul’s passion for the culinary arts was mainly influenced by his mother who was the executive chef in their family owned restaurant, named "Cuchi". At the age of 17, he was encouraged by his father to pursue a degree in culinary at Escola Hotelaria do Algarve in Portugal. Chef Saul specialises in seafood dishes and Mediterranean cuisine, which he mainly attributes to his childhood life where he lived most of the time near the beach. In 2014, he came to Dubai to develop his career and started working at Sheraton JBR as Executive Sous Chef. Nowadays, Chef Saul spends lot of his time creating fresh and innovative food concepts to keep up with the ever-changing culinary trends, offering something new to our hotel guests.
